Ford Mustang with electric drive
A British start-up transformed the legendary Ford Mustang of the late 1960s (second generation) into a dark electric beast – with a drive that puts all previous models in the shade. Instead of the typical V8 engine several electric motors are used, which generate 408 hp and 1200 Nm of torque. In just 3.1 seconds, the E-Mustang sprint to 100th. The combination of several electric motors also allows different drive variants. At the touch of a button, the driver can choose between front, rear and four-wheel drive. For the right beast look Charge donated the Mustang a few bright day headlights, almost mystical-looking cross symbols on the radiator grille and rims (company logo) and a black complete paint job. Not quite suitable for the mighty appearance is the rather short range of the e-race horse, which emanates after 200 kilometers of juice. The so far unique E-Mustang is only the first of a small series of 499 vehicles. The purchase prices start at around 230,000 euros, first customer copies are to be delivered from autumn 2019.
